🎓 Hey 2025 Grads — I See You
Gosh, I remember graduating — what feels like just a couple of years ago (scarily… over a decade had come and gone). That mix of freedom, excitement, hope — and then suddenly, the feeling like the rug’s been pulled out from under you.
The structure disappears.
No more classes.
No easy access to advice or feedback.
No one chasing you. No one pushing you.
Just… space. And pressure. And a lot of questions.
It’s like you’ve been training for this moment for years —
and the second it arrives, you feel totally unprepared for the day-to-day reality of creative life.
Maybe you’ve secured representation or work — congratulations!
Maybe you haven’t yet — that’s okay too.
Here’s what I want you to know:
Everything you are feeling is normal. You’re not behind. You’re not alone. And you’re absolutely not failing.
If you’d like some support during this transition — and honestly, I highly recommend that you do — I’m offering a special graduate-only coaching rate for the next few months to help you through this in-between phase.
If you’re ready to shape this next chapter with an understanding ear, a little more direction — and a lot less pressure — I’m here.
In your corner,
As your Creative Wingman,
Jamie

Founder of Coaching for Creatives & Your Official Creative Wingman
-
Hi, I’m Jamie - actor by trade, certified coach by passion, and fully here in your corner as your creative wingman. Think of me, if you will, as the Samwise to your Frodo, the Alfred to your Batman, or the Doc Brown to your Marty McFly. They all needed a little guidance on their way to greatness - maybe you do too?
From the Welsh countryside to the hustle of London… and now, the golden dreamland of Hollywood - it’s been quite the journey. But let me be real: it hasn’t always been easy.
Boy, it hasn’t been easy.In the early days, I could’ve won the Oscar for Best at Pretending Everything’s Fine.
In truth? Between the wins, I often felt like Indiana Jones chasing the Holy Grail - hustling, chasing, dreaming - only to be periodically pummelled by a giant industry boulder.
This is a tough old game. And while it might not get easier to control the outcomes, it does get easier to manage - with the right tools, the right support, and the right outlook.
Looking back, I wish I’d had someone in my corner - someone who truly understood the reality of this industry, and could help me navigate through the noise, the doubt, and the mess.
I can’t go back in time.
But maybe… I can be that person for you… -
If I could hop in the DeLorean and do it all again, would I? Probably. I’d certainly take a few short cuts. But I also know I wouldn’t be who I am without the knock-backs and the valuable lessons i’ve learnt.
Some of the biggest growth came from the toughest scenes.
Let’s just say - it took a few internal plot twists for me to realise I needed to rewrite my own script.
Eventually (after some off-screen soul-searching), I realised this career is a marathon, not a sprint.
Or in movie terms… it’s more Director’s Cut than Fast & Furious. And having a life outside of acting? It’s not a luxury. It’s a necessity.
It fuels the work - not distracts from it.The ride is astronomically more enjoyable these days than it used to be.
I’m playing the game now. The game’s not playing me.
And I want that for you, too. -
I’ve had world-class coaching training - through the Jay Shetty Certification School, no less - but truthfully, I felt a little weird about calling myself a coach at first.
There are so many courses, workshops, ‘experts’... basically, everyone’s selling something these days (ugh… even I am now!). And honestly? I feel the same skepticism every time I see someone promising they’ve cracked the code. I didn’t want that—for me, or for you. I wanted mutual value.
So here’s the truth: Nobody has the answer. If they did, we’d all be doing it already.
But you? Somewhere inside you, my creative friend, you already have yours.
I’m not Mr. Miyagi. I’m not the turtle from Kung Fu Panda.
I’m not here to hand you ancient wisdom or one-size-fits-all solutions.I’m a working-class actor with real-life experience - someone who’s pushed through the mess and made it through to the other side with some great credits, some bucket-list moments, and a whole lot of career still ahead.
My job is simple:
To help you stay in the game long enough to hit your bucket list moment - and figure out how to build a life alongside it that you actually love. -
If you’re ready for more calm, clarity, and confidence -and real steps toward the creative life you’ve been imagining - let’s talk!
I’m here in your corner, as your Creative Wingman.

🎬 The FAQs You Actually Want Answered
-
Coaching is a structured, collaborative process designed to help you gain clarity, set meaningful goals, and take consistent action — with honest support along the way. It’s not therapy, advice-giving, or a one-size-fits-all plan. It’s about helping you figure out what matters and how to move toward it in a way that feels sustainable and true to who you are.
Is it worth your money? That depends on what you're looking for.
If you want instant results with zero effort — probably not.
But if you're ready to invest in yourself, get out of your own way, and actually start making intentional progress toward your creative goals, coaching can be a game-changer. -
Important question. Why should you trust your time, money and career aspirations with me?
First of all, I’m a working actor with first-hand experience across theatre, film, voiceover, and commercial work—both in the UK and internationally.Highlights include:
The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre, Cirque du Soleil, West End productions, national and international tours, global commercial campaigns, feature films, voiceovers, and relocating to America to establish an extended career in Hollywood, Los Angeles. But like most actors, my journey hasn’t been all red carpets and opening nights. Between gigs, I’ve worked side jobs—everything from chip shop shifts and window installation to teaching and pulling pints behind the bar.
I know what it feels like to book the big one…And I know what it feels like to wait (and wait) for the next thing.
While I’m proud of my own achievements, my success—or lack thereof—isn’t the reason you’d hire me as a coach.Unlike a mentor, a coach plays a very different role in your journey.
You’re not here to follow my exact career trajectory.
You’re not here for a checklist of “how I did it.”Success looks different for everyone.
We all start from different places, face different obstacles, and define “making it” in our own way.My job isn’t to hand you my blueprint.
It’s to help you build yours. That’s part of what led me to train as a Jay Shetty Certified Coach—combining real industry insight with world-class training and coaching tools that actually help actors and creatives move forward.
This isn’t generic advice. It’s lived experience—shaped by professional training, international perspective, and a career built from both big breaks and hard-won resilience.
-
A typical session is a focused 60 minutes where we explore where you’re at, where you want to go, and what’s getting in the way. We’ll talk honestly, reflect, untangle the messy bits, and then turn those insights into clear, doable actions.
Some sessions are about clarity - defining what success actually means to you.
Some are about mindset - challenging inner critics or fear.
Some are practical - planning, making decisions, building momentum. It’s not a lecture, and it’s definitely not me “fixing” you.
It’s a collaborative space to get real, get unstuck, and move forward - with someone in your corner who’s listening and challenging you (gently). -
Coaching gives you a focused space to get clear, build momentum, and move forward - with honest support and no pressure to perform.
Some of the most common benefits clients experience:
✔️ Clarity - You'll get out of your own head and define what you actually want (not just what you think you “should” want).
✔️ Momentum - You'll stop circling the same problems and start making consistent, intentional progress.
✔️ Accountability - You'll have someone checking in, challenging your patterns, and keeping you moving - without guilt or fluff.
✔️ Confidence - You'll build trust in your own voice, instincts, and direction - even when things feel messy.
✔️ Support - You'll have a non-judgmental space to talk it out, reset, and stay connected to your purpose. And yes - often, clients achieve the goals they came in with.
Sometimes faster than they expected.
Sometimes with more ease than they thought possible.
Sometimes by realising the original goal wasn’t the real goal - and finding something better.
And eventually, you’ll notice something powerful:
You’ll start coaching yourself.
You’ll hear your own voice more clearly. You’ll know what questions to ask, when to pause, and how to move forward - without second-guessing everything. -
I get it-this industry moves fast.
That’s why there’s a 24-hour reschedule window. If something changes last-minute (like a same-day casting), I’ll always do my best to be flexible if you give me notice.
Life happens. Let’s just communicate.
-
A therapist helps you explore the past, process emotional challenges, and care for your mental health. Therapy often focuses on healing, trauma, and internal patterns.
A mentor gives guidance based on their own experience. They’ve “been there,” and they’re here to show you how they did it — sometimes offering contacts, shortcuts, or advice specific to a shared field.
A coach (like me) holds space for your thinking, feelings, and goals — but doesn’t give you answers. I’m not here to tell you what to do. I’m here to ask the right questions, help you untangle what’s stuck, and support you as you make decisions that feel honest and sustainable.
In short:
🛠 Therapists help you heal
📣 Mentors tell you what worked for them
🎯 Coaches help you figure out what works for you. -
Yes!
Honestly… this is one of my favorite types of client to work with.Whether you stepped away for a few months or a few years-because of life, family, burnout, or just needing a break-it’s never too late to redefine your creative path.
We can work on:
Rebuilding your confidence
Getting clear on what “coming back” means for you (full-time, part-time, or just testing the waters)
Updating your mindset to match where you are now (not where you were before you stepped away)
Creating a realistic, tailored game plan for re-entry
If that sounds like you… yes, we can absolutely work together.
-
If you're established in your career, chances are you're not “figuring it out” — you're managing a lot.
And somewhere along the way, it’s easy to lose the why, the energy, or the space for you in the middle of it all.You might be:
🔁 Stuck in a cycle of work that looks good on paper but feels flat
🎭 Creatively burnt out or craving a new challenge
🎒 Juggling your career, family responsibilities, and wondering where your life outside of all that has gone
💡 Sitting on side passions or personal projects you keep putting off
💬 Wondering: “What if it’s time to give something back to myself for once?”Coaching gives you a place to pause, reflect, and reimagine what the next phase of your life and work could look like — without blowing it all up.
Together, we can:
✔️ Create space for joy and play again
✔️ Build a version of success that includes you in the picture
✔️ Find rhythm and balance between career, home, and your own growth
✔️ Support you in investing in what you've been quietly putting offBecause you've already given so much to your career.
Now it might be time to give something back to yourself. -
You absolutely can - and you probably already have in lots of ways.
Talking things through with a good friend can be helpful. So can journaling, venting, Googling, and voice-noting your existential dread into the void. But here’s the difference:
A coach isn’t emotionally entangled in your life.
They’re not trying to protect your feelings or fix things for you.
They’re trained to ask the kind of questions that pull things into focus, and to hold you accountable in a way that’s compassionate - but firm. It’s not that you can’t do it alone.
It’s that you don’t have to.
And sometimes, having structured support - someone who sees your potential and helps you actually act on it - can get you further, faster, and with way less burnout along the way. -
I hear you - and I’ve been there too. Do I put money into myself or class?
It can feel strange (even guilty) to spend money on something that’s just for you, especially when the creative path already feels uncertain or financially tight. But here’s the thing:
Coaching isn’t self-indulgent. It’s strategic.
It’s not about luxury - it’s about creating clarity, momentum, and mental space that saves you months (or years) of feeling stuck, spinning in circles, or waiting for “the right time.” It can also make sure you are investing you money in the right class for you. This isn’t about throwing money at a problem. It’s about backing yourself.
And if the full investment isn’t doable right now, we can look at payment plans or start smaller - even one session can shift things meaningfully. You are worth the investment - because you're building something brave. And that deserves support.
If you need a payment plan then I do offer them for the 6 & 12 week coaching packages. I want coaching to be accessible for everyone.
